Employment

As well as advising on non-contentious employment matters, the Litigation department deals with all aspects of contentious and potentially contentious employment issues including unfair and wrongful dismissal, redundancy claims and the many types of statutory discrimination claims which are now available to employees. Partners Peter Curnock and Katherine de Souza in particular have many years’ experience acting on both sides of employment disputes and have a user-friendly, pragmatic approach.

It is often possible to negotiate a settlement of such disputes and we can advise on appropriate settlement packages and the necessary supporting documentation. If matters prove incapable of resolution the Litigation team can support employers and employees alike through proceedings in the Employment Tribunal and in the Courts.
