Banking

Marriott Harrison has experience in acting in disputes involving both domestic and overseas banks and other financial institutions, including disputes between banks and customers as well as between banks themselves.

Disputes with customers and third parties usually involve either the bank enforcing its security or pursuing claims arising out of breach of mandate and other banking obligations. The Litigation department has particular experience of inter-bank disputes often arising out of fraud or trade finance. We have also advised on all manner of professional negligence claims, particularly with surveyors, accountants and solicitors.

Litigation partner Paul Howcroft is recognised by Legal 500 as an expert in retail banking litigation.
